Dr. Laurence Lesser

Dr. Lesser is orginally from Brooklyn, New York.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He attended medical school at the State University of New York and he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the Emory Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Lesser is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. In 2008, Dr. Lesser was the national recipient of the First Humanitarian Award in recognition for his caring spirit and philanthropic work. In 1989, Dr. Lesser co-founded the Gwinnett Community Clinic which was staffed by volunteer physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
