Dr. Heller received his undergraduate degree from Queens College in Flushing New York. He attended Medical School at New York Medical College in Valhalla New York. His internship and residency were completed at Long Island Jewish – Hillside Medical Center in New York. He completed cardiology fellowships at Columbia University, University of Massachusetts and Tufts Medical School.
Dr. Heller is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Medical College of Georgia and is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Medical College of Georgia and is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Heller is the immediate past Director of the Coronary Cardiac Unit at Piedmont Hospital.
His special interests are interventional cardiology which includes Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary and Peripheral Angioplasty, Intracoronary and Carotid Stents, and Coronary Atherectomy.
