announce the addition of Dr. Joseph Perez

Dr. Perez was born and raised in northern New Jersey, and lived many years in suburban Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

He attended Florida International University in Miami for his undergraduate degree, and subsequently Nova Southeastern University for his medical education. He trained in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach.

Dr. Perez worked as a hospital based internist at GMC Lawrenceville and then completed a Cardiology fellowship at Nova Southeastern University/Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida prior to returning to Lawrenceville and joining CVG.

Dr. Perez is Board Certified in internal medicine. He has interests in adult echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Perez is fluent in Spanish and cares for patients in our Lawrenceville and Snellville offices.

the addition of Dr. Martin Siegfried

Cardiovascular Group is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Martin Siegfried to our team!

Dr. Martin Siegfried was born in Philadelphia, PA. He received his MD/PhD from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his fellowship and residency at Emory University Hospital.

Dr. Siegfried is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. He specializes in nuclear cardiology, cardiac catheterization, and trans-esophageal echocardiography.

He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. He has published numerous articles related to coronary blood flow, shock and heart attack prevention.

He resides in Gainesville, GA with his wife and children. He enjoys running, Boy Scouts, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Siegfried cares for patients our Buford and Hamilton Mill offices.
