Dr. Delaney is a Board-Certified cardiologist and highly skilled cardiac procedural specialist who provides twenty-four years of experience within private practice and hospital settings. He attended medical school at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine (University of London). Dr. Delaney completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and cardiology fellowships at Texas Heart Institute, St. Luck Episcopal Hospital, and Baylor College of Medicine. He has had publications in several scientific journals, and he specializes in interventional cardiology, including coronary and peripheral interventions, as well as permanent pacemaker implantation, loop recorder implantation, carotid angiography, nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, pulmonary hypertension, and certain structural heart procedures such as ASD/CFO closure. His research interests focus on methods for detecting unstable coronary artery atherosclerotic plaques and maintaining cellular viability and function under anoxic conditions.
