Dr. Friedland is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Friedland attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his internal medicine residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Friedland is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. He has practiced for 38 years in private practice and two years in hospital settings. He has also practiced as an interventional and noninvasive cardiologist for 35 years and is specializing in nuclear cardiology and echocardiograms.
His special interests include: Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary Angioplasty, Pacemakers, Echocardiography, Echo doppler and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Friedland cares for patients at our Lawrenceville, Johns Creek, Duluth, and Buford offices. He believes in listening to the patient and treating each person as an individual with unique needs.

Dr. Friedland enjoys family life and has been married for 45 years. He has three grown children and a beautiful baby granddaughter. His hobbies include enjoying walks with his rescue dog Wynnie, playing his drums and working in the yard.
