Keionna Grant
Dr. Keionna D. Grant is a dedicated and accomplished healthcare professional with a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine. Her unwavering commitment to patient care, combined with her extensive training and education, makes her an invaluable asset to the medical community.
Dr. Grant’s journey towards becoming a prominent cardiologist began at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she earned her Medical Degree. She furthered her knowledge with a Master of Science in Biology from Mississippi College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vanderbilt University in 2011.
Her dedication to honing her skills led her to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Subsequently, she pursued a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Grant’s medical career has been marked by her contributions to patient care. She has served as a Fee-Based Emergency Medicine Physician at the Atlanta VA Medical Center since March 2022, where she continues to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.
Moreover, she has enriched the medical community through presentations and discussions at prestigious institutions like Morehouse School of Medicine and the American College of Physicians competitions.
Dr. Grant is actively involved in respected medical associations, including the Association of Black Cardiologists and the American College of Physicians. Her research efforts have focused on critical studies related to venous thromboembolism and mast cell involvement in immunosuppression.
Beyond her medical expertise, Dr. Grant is known for her dedication to community service and has held leadership roles in various medical organizations. Her commitment to volunteer work underscores her passion for giving back and improving the well-being of others.
